Its new sterling share class comes as the fund has returned 183.39 per cent since inception in September 2013 compared with 155.64 per cent from the benchmark Vietnam Stock Index (VN-Index) and it returned 13.83 per cent in the past year compared with 11.14 per cent for the VN-Index, the firm said. Vietnam is also experiencing strong economic growth; GDP expanded by 5.1 per cent in 2023 and is projected to rise to 6 per cent to 6.5 per cent in 2024.
